Toby Rush –President & Founder
Toby Rush has achieved national recognition as an expert on mobile and wireless technologies. Before he founded Rush Tracking Systems, he was Product Manager and then VP of Product Development for SAT Corporation. This venture capital funded software firm was an early adopter of RFID for asset tracking and work flow automation in its flagship product.

Previously, at BSI Consulting, Rush spearheaded the effort to create a new practice group around mobile and wireless technologies. The practice area eventually grew into its own company, MobilEdge Solutions.

Rush began his career with Accenture, implementing large systems such as SAP and PeopleSoft. He earned a degree in mechanical engineering at Kansas State University.

George Rothwell –CTO & Founder
As Lead Architect and Lead Developer for numerous companies, George Rothwell’s broad experience ranges from UNIX developer and administrator to Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer. He has engineered web applications, web services and client server architectures for Fortune 500 companies such as Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), Shell and British Petroleum.

Prior to Rush Tracking Systems, Rothwell was a Systems Administrator and Software Engineer for FabTime, Inc., a cycle time management system that provides real-time web-based access to wafer fabrication performance data. A lifelong HAM radio enthusiast, Rothwell has a degree in information systems from Kansas State University.

Mike Ryan –VP of Operations
A seasoned executive with more than 40 years of leadership experience, Mike Ryan has held senior level positions in both large corporations and small startup businesses in the public and government sectors. His expertise covers inventory and logistics, information technology, manufacturing and customer service.

Previously he was VP of Information Technology for The Sunflower Group, a national marketing and promotion company. Prior to that he founded Orion Computer Systems, a hardware, software distribution and consulting company. He also co-founded Technical Resource Group (TRG), consulting with companies that were right-sizing from mainframes and large mini-computers to client-server environments.

Ryan served as Director of Information Systems for Novadyne Computer Systems (formerly McDonnell Douglas Field Service Company), which was a leading U.S. third-party service provider. He has helped businesses develop automated systems since 1959, starting with North American Aviation, which later became Rockwell International and is now a part of Boeing. He was instrumental in Rockwell’s qualification as a C-SPEC contractor in the early 60s.

Scott Andersen –Director of Professional Services
As Director of Professional Services, Scott leads all aspects of our service delivery. Prior to joining Rush Tracking Systems, Scott was the Technical Director of International Paper's RFID System's Integration practice, ASURYS. As a Founding Member of ASURYS, Scott was the International Paper research lead for all Smart Packaging concepts. Scott has actively developed RFID technical solutions from conception, proof-of-concept, commercialization, and implementation phases. Additionally, Scott has managed several RFID based Supply Chain Solution Projects at Bayer Agriculture, P&G, Carrefour, Wal-Mart, Auto-ID Center, GSK, J&J, HP and Revlon.

Scott has held several research positions within Technology, Consumer Packaging Business, Research and Development and ASURYS. He holds a BS Major in Electrical Engineering and a BS Minor in Business Administration from Iowa State University and is completing his MBA at Xavier University - Cincinnati, Ohio.
